Get Your Saudi Visit Visa Stamped From Manama, Bahrain 2023 [Personal Experience]

In this blog post, I want to share my personal experience of obtaining a Saudi Visit Visa stamped from Manama, Bahrain.

As an avid traveler, I have always been fascinated by different cultures and destinations.

Saudi Arabia has always been on my bucket list, and this visit visa was the perfect opportunity to explore this beautiful country.

Join me as I take you through the process and share some insights from my journey.

What did I do?

The process of applying for a Saudi Visit Visa stamped from Manama, Bahrain was fairly straightforward.

I began by visiting the official website of the Saudi Arabian embassy in Bahrain, where I found a detailed guide on visa application procedures.

It is crucial to carefully read and understand the requirements before proceeding further.

Required documents and eligibility criteria

To initiate the application process, I gathered the necessary documents, including a valid passport with a minimum of six months validity, a completed visa application form, a recent passport-size photograph, and a copy of the sponsor’s Saudi ID (if applicable).

• The filled-out Visa registered user application after printing it from the website.
•  An authorization letter requesting access addressed to the Nationality, Passports & Residence Affairs need to be submitted.
•  Copy of valid CR number.
• Copy of valid user’s ID reader printout.
• Additionally, I had to provide proof of accommodation and a return flight ticket.

Once I had gathered all the required documents, I made an appointment at the Saudi Visa Application Center in Manama. It is essential to schedule an appointment in advance to avoid any unnecessary delays or inconvenience.

Step 1 Get a New Visit Visa from Saudi Arabia

Navigating the visa application process can be a daunting task, but armed with the right information and guidance, it can be a smooth and hassle-free experience.

My family was still in Saudi Arabia in last days of Visa.

As per new policies, you can apply for a new visa while your family is still in Saudi Arabia. 

Make sure you input “Stamping Place” as Manama, Bahrain when applying for a new visa as you will get your visa stamped here.

It will charge you about SAR 700-900 as stamping fee.

Within three days, I received the new visa.

Step 2 Get E-Visa for Bahrain

You need to apply for an E-Visa for each family member.

If you have an Iqama, Bahrain is still giving you a visa on arrival and charging you according to your occupation in the Iqama.

In order to minimize unnecessary risks, I also opted for the E-Visa method.

Within 4 to 5 days, I received E Visas for every member of my family from their official website.

Complete our easy online application and pay with credit card or PayPal, procedure is as follows

-Go to official website of Bahrain E-Visa.

-Chose apply for Visa.

-Window will open and fill out with your requirements as I chose General Purpose as Visit.

-I have to choose between Single Entry Visa or Multiple Entry Visa.

• Single Entry can be extended through Absher Portal or Exit-Entry Process.
• For Multiple Entry, you have to do Exit-Entry after every three months.

-Online application process requires necessary documents that are mention above.

-Within four to five days, I got approval for my E-Visa.

No need to deal with the embassy because you can do by yourself by staying at home.

Present your Passport and the document, which we provide upon entry to destination country.

Step 3 Travel Khobar to Bahrain

When embarking on a journey from Khobar to Bahrain, we can choose various transportation options to suit our preferences and budgets.

Before embarking on your journey, it is crucial to ensure that you have the necessary documentation and visas in place.

Saudi citizens require a valid passport to travel to Bahrain.

Additionally, it is recommended to check the latest visa requirements and regulations to avoid any unforeseen complications.

There are several convenient modes of transportation available for traveling from Saudi Arabia to Bahrain.

Step 4 Checking at King Fahad Causeway

The most popular options include road travel.    

The King Fahd Causeway is a well-established and efficient road connection between the two countries.

It spans approximately 25 kilometers and allows for easy access by private vehicles, taxis, or buses.

Make sure to carry your identification documents and entry visas for a hassle-free journey because they will ask Iqama and Re-Entry Visa and the Visit Visa of family members there with your Bahrain Visa.

After checking of all they gave us approval and went back to our transportation.

Currency Exchange and Banking Facilities

Both Saudi Arabia and Bahrain have their specific currencies, you can’t give them in other.

It is recommended to exchange your currency before traveling or upon arrival at your destination afterwards it creates hectic situations in many places.

Currency exchange counters and ATMs are readily available at airports, major hotels, and commercial areas in both countries.

Once you arrive in Bahrain, there are several transportation options to explore the country.

Taxis are readily available and can be hailed from the streets or booked through mobile applications.

Public buses are also an affordable and convenient way to travel within the city.

Step 5 Stamping Visa from VFS Tasheel

As a globally recognized visa center for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, VFS Tasheel has offices in almost every country.

VFS Tasheel have daunting process as follows:

To stamp your Saudi Visit Visa in Bahrain, you must go to VFS Tasheel.

You can also book by taking token physically but you have to reach early to get work earlier.

They ask for documents like as

• Passport with copies
• Birth/Marriage Certificates for Children/ Wife
• Passport size Photos having background
• Visa and Iqama with copies
• Pay the fee also

On the appointed day, I arrived at the center and was greeted by friendly staff who guided me through the process.

Submit your documents by visiting on day of appointment and and collect your passport after 3 days.

Step 6 Getting Back to Saudi Arabia

After that we get our passports and in Manama they will check Saudi Iqama and the Saudi Visa of everyone with you.

The procedure is same as you travel from Bahrain to Khobar.

Upon crossing King Fahad Causeway from Bahrain to Saudi Arabia, they checked our passports and sent us to Jawazat officers to get new Border numbers and fingerprints for adults.

Saudi Customs checked the car and luggage and allowed you to enter Saudi Arabia. 

Step 7 Welcome to Khobar, Saudi Arabia

Once we get our passport, we will move towards our destination.

I crossed the causeway and marveled at the seamless blend of cultures, experiencing the best of both countries.

Al-Rashid Mall

For those who love shopping, Al-Rashid Mall is a retail paradise waiting to be explored. Spanning across multiple levels, this expansive mall houses a wide range of international brands, local boutiques, and entertainment options. From fashion to electronics, Al-Rashid Mall has it all. I spent hours indulging in retail therapy and relishing delicious meals at the mall’s numerous restaurants.

SciTech Technology Center

If you have a penchant for science and technology, a visit to the SciTech Technology Center is a must. This interactive science museum offers an immersive experience, providing insights into various scientific disciplines. I was fascinated by the interactive exhibits, engaging demonstrations, and informative workshops that catered to visitors of all ages.
