Being an expat, we always try to get the food we used to eat in our countries.
The traditional Saudi food is really tasty and wonderful experience to try but sometimes we miss what we used to eat in our Home Country.
As an expat, I always visit different restaurants to try as I recently got married and my wife wants nothing but Pakistani food and I found it funny that there is not much of a guide to best Pakistani Restaurants in Riyadh.
So we tried to compile the best possible restaurant in Riyadh which you must try in 2023.

Food House Restaurant & Lounge
The newly opened restaurant in Saudi Arabia’s capital Riyadh with 5 cuisines in it and the hookah bar which is cherry on top!
If somebody will ask us which number 1 restaurant you would like to go in Riyadh, I would undoubtedly say that is Food House Restaurant & Lounge.
A restaurant where you have ambiance, hookah and amazing food with several of options.
We were invited at Food House Restaurant recently where we got to know about this GEM.
If you’re looking to spend an amazing weekend, the Food house restaurant should be your first option.

BBQ Tonight
We all know that BBQ Tonight is Pakistan’s most renowned restaurant which opened in 1988.
With more than 4K views on Google Maps in Saudi Arabia, BBQ Tonight Riyadh is an extension of BBQ Tonight Jeddah.
Since 1988, they have been offering up a taste of tradition, and their food is still adored & admired by people all over the world.
Compared to other Pakistani restaurants in the area, the flavour, setting, and cost are the best.
Every day of the week, they provide their buffet system, with additional meals on Friday.
Grill N Rice
At Grill N Rice, they provide you delicious, authentic and wide variety of Pakistani/Indian food.
If you’ll have their food, I’m saying confidently that you’ll fall in love with it forever.
They mostly have all of the famous and favourites of expatriates such as Roghani Nan, Juicy BBQ, Best Seller Handi, and Shinwari karahi.
Cherry on top, the Grill N Rice’s Gola kabab is a delicacy that you just must have.
However, the restaurant’s service is prompt and courteous, and its pricing are reasonable.
They take all necessary precautions to maintain sanitation.
Red Chillies
Are you a fan of Paratha Roll with Mint Sauce? Well, I’m a fan of it.
Red chillies brings you the taste of Karachi Fast Food back in Riyadh.
It is an extension of Red Chillies Jeddah.
They have BBQ, Rolls, Pakistani Style Pizza, Karachi style Zinger Burger, Club Sandwich and what not.
Also, they serve Pakistani Breakfast, Halwa Puri and trust me it’s the best right now in Riyadh.
When it comes to eating the best Pakistani fast food, I always prefer Red chillies.
Biryani King
Biryani King was started with a very small place and became famous in no time because of their delicious food.
If you’ll go to Biryani King on weekends, trust me, you have to wait for your turn as they’re fully acquired.
I myself is a fan of their Biryani King special Nihari.
However, they serve Biryani which is a traditional Karachi authentic Biryani and it’s delicious.
Karahi, Haleem and BBQ tastes same as Burns Road in Karachi.
Also, they have a lot of delicious food in their menu.
Do give it a visit as it’ll take you back to Karachi, Pakistani food.
Cherry on top is their Meetha Pan which is amazing after you’ll have the food.
Lahori Village
Although, not much of a family restaurant but they’ve made their place in Best Pakistani Restaurants in Riyadh because of their delicious food.
But, if you’ll bring your family, they’ll put a cover for your table so you can enjoy peacefully their food.
They got renovated few months back, brought a great ambiance and they improved since then.
Their prices are really great and it is a must try if you’re in Riyadh.
Don’t forget to have their Breakfast which is great especially their Paratha and Channa (Chickpeas).
Karachi Biryani
Karachi Biryani is the best Karachi, Pakistani Restaurant in Riyadh when it comes to biryani as name says it all.
They started as Biryani and Pulao Restaurant and quickly they became famous in Riyadh among expats for their delicious Biryani.
When they first opened in Riyadh, I used to eat almost everyday as before I couldn’t find authentic Karachi Biryani in Riyadh.
However, they have added a lot of additions in their menu such as Karahi, Nihari etc. which a must try as well.
But still their biryani and pulao is the best.
Do give it a try if you’re craving for Karachi-style-biryani in Riyadh.
Roll.Khi
If you’re Karachiite, Rolls are your first love.
The name says it all which means Roll Karachi.
But, the roll is not only in their menu which is best, Bun Kabab A.K.A Anday wala Burger A.K.A Shami Burger. is their most juicy and delicious street food burger in Riyadh.
They are not much of an old restaurant but quickly the word spread in the people of Riyadh that this is one of the bests of all in Riyadh when it comes to Bun Kabab and Rolls.

Sweet N Spicy
Sweet N Spicy is owned by the same owners of Lahori Village but there chefs and menus are different and unique in their own way.
I, myself, arranged my marriage get-together for my Saudi Arabia friends and it turned out to be the best as they have arranged everything top-notch.
Their service, well-trained staff and modern ambiance makes it unique.
Although, it is a new restaurant but their food makes it to get featured here as one of the top restaurants of Riyadh which you should give it a try.
Their Daal Makhni and Madrasi Handi is the best among their other food items.
Nirala Fish & Sweets
Looking for the best Naan Chanay breakfast in Riyadh?
Well, Nirala is your way to go for authentic Pakistani Naan Chanay Breakfast.
People from all over the Saudi Arabia who knows about famous Nirala’s breakfast, they must have it if they come to Riyadh.
They have very limited item in case of dinner but they’re amazing and delicious.
I love their Palaak but try yourself if ever you want to have the best breakfast of Riyadh.

Long gone days, when you couldn’t find some authentic Pakistani cuisine as in every other area of Riyadh they have it.
Especially, Hara is becoming a Hub of Pakistani Restaurants in Riyadh.
